See the choice behind the change
The revision puts the reason next to the proposal. It does not add a statistic or turn a plausible benefit into a proven result.
Before
It is important to recognize that extending library hours can have a significant impact on students. This is because some students finish work after the library closes.
After
Longer library hours would help students who finish work after closing time.
Illustrative edit, not a live model result. Your output depends on your draft and instructions.
Choose the passage your essay actually needs to improve
An AI essay humanizer is most useful after you know what you want to argue. Start with the paragraph that feels slow, repetitive or disconnected. Write its claim in the margin before submitting it. If the draft contains two unrelated claims, separate them yourself so each can receive the right evidence. A cleaner sentence cannot resolve a choice the writer has not made.
Keep the paragraph before it nearby while reviewing the result. An opening that sounds strong in isolation may repeat the conclusion of the previous paragraph. Likewise, a shortened final sentence may no longer lead into the next example. Judge the edited passage by its role in the essay, not just by how smoothly it reads on its own.
Preserve the reasoning between a source and your claim
Suppose your paragraph describes students who finish work after the library closes. That observation supports a proposal for later opening hours, but it does not prove that every student would benefit or that grades would improve. The example on this page keeps the narrower claim. Reject a revision that adds a broader outcome without evidence from your draft.
A quotation needs the same care. Preserve the quoted wording and citation, then check your explanation of why it matters. If the revision moves a citation to the end of a different sentence, the reader may connect the source to a claim it does not support. Review the sentence before and after every citation. The editor does not read the source or establish that your interpretation is correct, so keep that verification in your own research workflow.
Keep your perspective without inventing an experience
For a reflective essay, the detail that belongs to you may be an ordinary observation rather than a dramatic turning point. A specific choice you made, a question you asked or something you noticed can do more work than a broad claim about personal growth. Preserve it. If a rewrite replaces that detail with a general lesson, restore the detail before requesting another version.
You can ask the editor to match the plainness of the surrounding paragraph, keep first person and avoid adding emotion you did not express. Do not accept a new memory, motivation or anecdote because it makes the story flow. Read the result aloud as something you would be willing to explain to a teacher or reader. Keep required acknowledgment of assistance according to the rules for your assignment.
Use one revision question at a time
After the first rewrite, choose the remaining problem. If the opening is vague, ask for a concrete first sentence while preserving the evidence. If the paragraph repeats its claim, ask to remove the repetition without cutting the counterargument. A narrow instruction makes it easier to decide whether the next result improved the essay. Several conflicting requests can pull a paragraph in different directions.
Before accepting the revision, compare the thesis, supporting detail and qualification with your source text. Then place the paragraph back into the full essay and read across both boundaries. Stop when the passage does its job clearly. Another rewrite costs another credit and may change a sentence that already works; direct edits let you make a small correction without requesting a whole new version.
Can you revise an essay introduction or conclusion?
Yes. Paste the introduction or conclusion you have written, with enough context to show the thesis. An introduction should set up the argument the essay actually makes. Remove a sweeping opening if a concrete question would introduce that argument more accurately. Keep any definition the reader needs before reaching the body.
For a conclusion, ask to restate the implication of your argument without adding new evidence. Check that the final paragraph follows from the body and keeps its limits. A more dramatic last sentence is not an improvement if it claims more than the essay has shown.
Will the tool add research or complete an assignment?
This page is for revising a draft you provide. It does not research a topic, check the assignment rubric or establish that assistance is permitted. Keep your own notes and sources, and compare the finished essay with the assignment requirements yourself. If the instructions require an explanation of your process, retain that explanation when using revised passages.
Keep control of the working version
The editor places your original beside the result on a wide screen and stacks them on a phone. Use See changes to inspect the revision, or edit the result directly. Copy the finished text or download it as TXT or Markdown. A download contains the text you see, including your manual changes.
Signed-in writers can return to saved articles and their versions. A follow-up starts from the working text, so review any manual changes before submitting it. Your saved history stays available even when your credits run out or a subscription ends, until you choose to delete the article.
What a rewrite costs
A successful rewrite costs one credit. A successful follow-up also costs one. Typing, importing, reviewing, copying and downloading do not use credits. When a request is accepted, one credit is reserved; it is settled after the finished result is saved. A confirmed failure releases the reservation. An uncertain result stays pending while it is checked.
An anonymous visitor has one successful trial. First login grants five permanent credits. Beginning on the next UTC day, the first visit each day grants one credit that expires at midnight UTC. Missed daily gifts are not added later. Anonymous results are kept for up to 24 hours after completion; signing in can attach the result to your account.
The free limit is 1,000 units per request. Basic supports 5,000 and Pro supports 10,000; a remaining paid credit pack without a subscription supports 5,000. The same limit applies to the current text in a follow-up. The editor counts words and CJK characters using the same rule as the server. Check the displayed count before submitting. Compare plans and credit rules.
Readability is the goal
AI Humanize uses writing guidance based on the open-source blader/humanizer project. It asks a language model to remove unhelpful writing patterns while preserving the message. A readable result still needs your judgment: the tool does not verify facts, certify authorship or guarantee an AI-detector outcome.
