“Suggest,” “may” and “associated with” remain. Removing them could falsely imply a proven causal effect.
Before
It is worth noting that the results suggest that the intervention may be associated with a reduction in reported stress among the 42 participants.
After
The results suggest that the intervention may be associated with lower reported stress among the 42 participants.

Define what must remain exact in an academic revision
An academic humanizer should help you express a supported claim clearly. Before submitting a passage, identify the terms whose meaning cannot change: a named construct, a measurement, the population studied or a definition established earlier in the paper. Keep those items visible while reviewing. Repeated terminology may be necessary when it refers to the same concept throughout a methods section or literature review.
Next distinguish awkward wording from incomplete reasoning. If the paragraph does not explain why a result supports a conclusion, add that reasoning yourself. A rewrite can reorganize the explanation you supply, but it should not invent a mechanism or imply that an untested interpretation is established. For a thesis chapter, review the paragraph in the context of the research question and the limits already stated.
Keep the strength of the finding unchanged
The example retains suggest, may and associated with because each limits the claim. Changing the sentence to say that an intervention reduced stress would imply a stronger conclusion. Compare those small words before deciding that the revision is better. Uncertainty is part of the information, even when repeated qualifications make the prose less brisk.
Check the population too. A finding among 42 participants does not become a statement about all patients, students or workers. Preserve exclusions, dates and the conditions under which the observation was made. If a statistical term is present, keep its technical meaning distinct from its everyday meaning. The tool does not recalculate results, interpret a model output or determine whether a study design supports causality. Those checks belong to the researcher and relevant subject reviewers.
Protect quotations and references through sentence changes
A citation can remain visually present while its relationship to the prose changes. If the revision combines two sentences, confirm that the source still supports the whole statement. If it splits a sentence, check which part the citation belongs to. Preserve direct quotations exactly unless you are intentionally changing to a properly attributed paraphrase and have reviewed the source yourself.
Do not treat a complete-looking reference as a verified one. Confirm the author, title and publication details in your reference manager or source materials. The editor works with the text you provide; it does not validate a bibliography or resolve a source identifier. Keep citations attached during copying, and check reference-manager fields after returning text to a word processor because plain text does not retain those live document features.
Revise a coherent section and then check its boundaries
Choose a passage that includes enough context for the terms and pronouns to be understood. A methods paragraph can need the definition immediately before it; a discussion paragraph can depend on an earlier limitation. Keep that context in view. A focused follow-up might ask to split the longest sentence while preserving terminology, units and the distinction between an observation and its interpretation.
Afterward, compare every number and symbol separately from the prose. Negative signs, ranges and measurement units can carry more meaning than an entire introductory clause. Return the paragraph to the manuscript, read the adjacent text and keep any disclosure required by the publication or institution. Use a subject specialist for final review when the meaning depends on technical judgment. A readable passage is still a draft until its evidence and terminology have been checked.
Can you revise an abstract independently?
You can revise the text of an abstract, but compare it with the full paper afterward. The abstract must describe the same objective, method and findings. Compression can erase a limitation or make the result seem broader than the study. Keep the journal’s length requirement beside your draft and check it in the submission system or document where it will be used.
If a technical abbreviation is defined only in the paper, decide whether the abstract needs its own definition. The editor cannot infer the publication’s conventions from a paragraph alone. Supply those requirements when asking for a focused follow-up.
What happens to formulas and reference-manager fields?
TXT and Markdown keep plain text, not the live fields or layout of a manuscript file. Treat formulas, tables and citation fields as material that needs a separate comparison when text returns to your document. Preserve an unchanged copy of the original notation, and do not assume that a fluent explanation confirms a formula’s validity or the accuracy of its symbols.
Keep control of the working version
The editor places your original beside the result on a wide screen and stacks them on a phone. Use See changes to inspect the revision, or edit the result directly. Copy the finished text or download it as TXT or Markdown. A download contains the text you see, including your manual changes.
Signed-in writers can return to saved articles and their versions. A follow-up starts from the working text, so review any manual changes before submitting it. Your saved history stays available even when your credits run out or a subscription ends, until you choose to delete the article.
What a rewrite costs
A successful rewrite costs one credit. A successful follow-up also costs one. Typing, importing, reviewing, copying and downloading do not use credits. When a request is accepted, one credit is reserved; it is settled after the finished result is saved. A confirmed failure releases the reservation. An uncertain result stays pending while it is checked.
An anonymous visitor has one successful trial. First login grants five permanent credits. Beginning on the next UTC day, the first visit each day grants one credit that expires at midnight UTC. Missed daily gifts are not added later. Anonymous results are kept for up to 24 hours after completion; signing in can attach the result to your account.
The free limit is 1,000 units per request. Basic supports 5,000 and Pro supports 10,000; a remaining paid credit pack without a subscription supports 5,000. The same limit applies to the current text in a follow-up. The editor counts words and CJK characters using the same rule as the server. Check the displayed count before submitting. Compare plans and credit rules.
Readability is the goal
AI Humanize uses writing guidance based on the open-source blader/humanizer project. It asks a language model to remove unhelpful writing patterns while preserving the message. A readable result still needs your judgment: the tool does not verify facts, certify authorship or guarantee an AI-detector outcome.
