See the choice behind the change

The deadline becomes the whole message. The revision does not add urgency or change the closing time.

Before

On tärkeää huomata, että ilmoittautuminen päättyy perjantaina kello 17.

After

Ilmoittautuminen päättyy perjantaina kello 17.

Illustrative edit, not a live model result. Your output depends on your draft and instructions.

Choose written Finnish before shortening the passage

Standard written Finnish and a conversational message can differ in wording and forms. Decide which register fits the document before asking for a less formal result. A workplace notice can be easy to read without becoming a transcription of speech. Keep the original register when you only want to remove a repetitive opening.

The example above keeps a straightforward standard written sentence about registration. It removes an instruction to notice the information. A personal email might need some warmth around the same fact, while an administrative notice may need an eligibility condition. Keep what the particular reader needs to understand the deadline.

Treat case endings as part of the meaning

When a Finnish verb or noun changes, inspect the endings in the surrounding phrase. A compact form can express a relationship that would need several words in English, so do not judge clarity by word count alone. If a rewrite alters an object or changes how a place is mentioned, check that the action still concerns the same thing and location. Preserve established technical terms and compounds when they name one concept. Simplifying the explanatory sentence around them may be a better edit than replacing them.

Check emphasis and the scope of an instruction

Word order can help identify what is already known and what the sentence adds. After restructuring, ask whether the paragraph still highlights the deadline, the responsible person or the exception that matters. A fluent sentence can shift that focus. Read the preceding sentence too, because the connection may depend on information introduced there.

For a follow-up, specify clear standard written Finnish and ask to preserve the registration time, place names and specialist vocabulary. Then inspect negative statements and conditions closely. A notice about applications that are not complete must still identify exactly which applications the instruction concerns. Finally, review ä and ö in names and ordinary words, as well as the numbers and units. A Finnish-speaking subject reviewer can assess a technical document after these checks; the editing tool does not validate terminology or certify that the source was correct.

Start with the Finnish you want to keep

Paste a complete Finnish paragraph into the editor. A sentence taken out of context can leave a pronoun, tone choice or reference unclear. Include enough surrounding text to show who is speaking and what the reader needs to do. You can also import a plain TXT or Markdown file; formatting from a PDF or word processor is not imported.

The page is written in English, but your draft stays in its original language by default. Visiting this page does not translate the whole website or turn an English draft into Finnish. If your text deliberately combines languages, make that choice explicit in a follow-up and check that borrowed words still belong in the result.

Use one precise follow-up

After reading the first result, identify the part that still needs work. For this page, a useful instruction is: “Use clear standard written Finnish. Preserve the deadline and specialist terms, and remove unnecessary introductions.” This gives the revision a concrete target and tells it which details must survive. A broad request to make everything “more human” gives you less control over the change.

Your next rewrite uses the current working text. You can edit that text yourself before asking for a new version. Signed-in writers can save a manual version for free, then request a follow-up. Each successful model revision costs one credit; editing the words directly does not.

Judge the result against the source

Read the Finnish result aloud when you can. Check where a sentence pauses and whether its level of formality fits the recipient. Then compare the original facts separately. Smooth wording can still change a deadline, remove a qualification or make a tentative claim sound certain.

Keep names, numbers, quotations and citations beside the original while reviewing. For specialist material, ask someone who understands the subject and language to check the final draft. The example on this page illustrates an editorial choice; it is not a live model benchmark or a promise that every rewrite will make the same change.

Keep control of the working version

The editor places your original beside the result on a wide screen and stacks them on a phone. Use See changes to inspect the revision, or edit the result directly. Copy the finished text or download it as TXT or Markdown. A download contains the text you see, including your manual changes.

Signed-in writers can return to saved articles and their versions. A follow-up starts from the working text, so review any manual changes before submitting it. Your saved history stays available even when your credits run out or a subscription ends, until you choose to delete the article.

What a rewrite costs

A successful rewrite costs one credit. A successful follow-up also costs one. Typing, importing, reviewing, copying and downloading do not use credits. When a request is accepted, one credit is reserved; it is settled after the finished result is saved. A confirmed failure releases the reservation. An uncertain result stays pending while it is checked.

An anonymous visitor has one successful trial. First login grants five permanent credits. Beginning on the next UTC day, the first visit each day grants one credit that expires at midnight UTC. Missed daily gifts are not added later. Anonymous results are kept for up to 24 hours after completion; signing in can attach the result to your account.

The free limit is 1,000 units per request. Basic supports 5,000 and Pro supports 10,000; a remaining paid credit pack without a subscription supports 5,000. The same limit applies to the current text in a follow-up. The editor counts words and CJK characters using the same rule as the server. Check the displayed count before submitting. Compare plans and credit rules.

Readability is the goal

AI Humanize uses writing guidance based on the open-source blader/humanizer project. It asks a language model to remove unhelpful writing patterns while preserving the message. A readable result still needs your judgment: the tool does not verify facts, certify authorship or guarantee an AI-detector outcome.

Keep any required disclosure, citation or review process for your work. Avoid pasting confidential material unless you have permission to use it here. Read the privacy policy for how submitted text and saved history are handled.

Before you use the result

  • Review case endings after changing a verb or noun.
  • Keep compound words intact where they carry a specific meaning.
  • Choose spoken or standard written Finnish deliberately.

Try a focused follow-up

Use clear standard written Finnish. Preserve the deadline and specialist terms, and remove unnecessary introductions.

Use this after the first result. A successful additional rewrite costs one credit.
